I Served Sticker
Scott Kreger, a Germantown, Maryland, investment manager, wanted to recognize veterans' and their families' sacrifice to our country. With his church, Journey's Crossing, he developed the concept of producing a decal similar to the beach decals (i.e. OBX) seen on many vehicles. Scott's decals have the letters AFG or IRQ to let folks know where a veteran served his country. Signet's owner, Dick Kent, supports Scott in this non-profit venture by supplying the decals at cost. They are available to any Afghanistan or Iraq veteran (or their family member) who request them. It is our way of showing our THANKS and APPRECIATION to deserving veterans. You can make your request on www.iservedsticker.org for free decals.

Both Scott and Dick were recognized for the "I Served" Sticker campaign at the Pentagon by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullins.
For his support of the "I Served Sticker" campaign, Dick has been nominated by the Winchester Chapter of Rotary International for their 2009 International Service Award.
